The Funding and Billing Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end billing, banking and operations across a diverse range of funding streams. This role includes invoice processing, reconciliations, debt management, banking transactions and allocations, and maintaining accurate client and provider records.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with Jewish Care Victoria policies, funding guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements. Working closely with internal teams, clients, and external providers, the Funding and Billing Officer supports timely and accurate reporting, funding submissions, and the effective resolution of billing, payment, and banking queries.

The role also contributes to system optimisation, data reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and supporting the delivery of high-quality services and outcomes.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience in financial administration, billing, invoicing or revenue operations - ideally in a regulated or service-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and sound judgement when handling complex or sensitive billing matters
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of aged care funding models, billing frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Systems proficiency, with experience using client management or financial systems (e.g. AlayaCare, ERP platforms)
  • A commitment to accuracy, integrity, person-centred service and continuous improvement
