Jewish Care Victoria is seeking are seeking an experienced and innovative Manager Employee Experience Part-Time (3 Days per Week) to lead the design and delivery of initiatives that enhance the employee journey and strengthen organisational capability across our workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a transforming People & Development team and make a lasting impact on the experience of more than 900 employees and volunteers.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Director People & Development, you will lead the development and implementation of employee experience initiatives that improve engagement, capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce outcomes.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the moments that matter most across the employee lifecycle, balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
Key focus areas include:
Employee Experience
- Design and implement an exceptional onboarding and offboarding experience
- Improve employee lifecycle touchpoints to create a consistent and positive experience
- Use employee feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement
Leadership Capability
- Develop and embed a Leadership Capability Framework aligned to organisational values
- Build leadership capability through practical tools, resources and development programs
- Support leaders to create high-performing and engaged teams
Organisational Development & Learning
- Design capability frameworks and development pathways across the organisation
- Lead learning and development initiatives that support future workforce needs
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Engagement & Culture
- Lead employee engagement and pulse survey programs
- Analyse workforce data and translate insights into meaningful action
- Develop initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and retention
Performance, Succession & Recognition
- Lead the performance review framework and annual review cycle
- Develop succession planning approaches across key business areas
- Enhance recognition programs that celebrate employee contribution and achievement
About You
You are a strategic and commercially minded People & Culture professional who is passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in Employee Experience, Organisational Development, Learning & Development or People & Culture leadership roles
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing organisation-wide capability and engagement strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience working with employee engagement surveys, workforce metrics and people analytics
- A track record of delivering practical and sustainable people initiatives
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Psychology, Business or a related discipline
Experience within aged care, health, community services or not-for-profit organisations will be highly regarded.
