Empowered to Shine

Join our team of 2000+ people making a positive difference to over 15,000 older Victorians through aged care services. As a respected not-for-profit organisation, we’re transforming the experience of ageing through collaboration, new ideas and investment in people and services. Our teams are supported to build meaningful connections and deliver exceptional care by accessible leaders who encourage professional development and growth. And when challenges arise, bring your curiosity, positive energy and resilience. With caring colleagues and an inclusive culture, we will adapt to change together. Live your best work/life in a respectful environment that values your safety, wellbeing and the contribution you make.

Our Team

The Retirement Living team thrives in a supportive, down-to-earth environment where collaboration and purpose go hand in hand. We work across key areas including finance, IT, quality and risk, marketing and customer experience, and people, culture and diversity—all to support our villages and the residents who call them home. Whether you’re helping residents settle in, assisting with transitions to aged care, or working alongside approachable leaders and dedicated colleagues, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the experience of older Australians. We embrace new ideas, value teamwork, and tackle challenges with creativity and care. Here, you’ll find genuine connection, room to grow, and recognition for the difference you make every day.

The Role

Are you passionate about supporting older Australians to live well? We are seeking a committed and proactive team member to join our Retirement Living team, based at Support Office with regular travel to our villages across Victoria. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that supports our Village and Sales staff with day-to-day operations, sales support, compliance, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in helping our communities navigate upcoming 2026 Retirement Villages Act reforms, amend policies and procedures, embed the Retirement Living Code of Conduct, and ensure high standards of village management and customer service.

Working across areas such as legal compliance, risk, finance, and customer experience, you’ll help implement practical solutions, guide complex decision-making, and contribute to a positive resident experience. Your ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and work across functions will be highly valued. This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Provide hands-on support to retirement village teams

  • Contribute to legislative readiness and industry best practice

  • Assist with sales processes, resident transitions, and contract interpretation

  • Collaborate with experienced, approachable leaders in a values-driven organisation

If you’re looking for a role where your work has real impact, and where you’ll be supported to grow and contribute to meaningful change—we’d love to hear from you.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Knowledge of retirement living operations and compliance

  • Experience supporting teams and working with residents

  • Confidence interpreting contracts and regulations

  • Strong communication and ability to drive policy and procedure changes

  • A proactive mindset to support upcoming reforms
