Our Support Office team works in a friendly and dynamic environment. We proudly deliver services across finance, IT, quality and risk, marketing and customer experience, and people culture and diversity. In this role you will:

  • Determine and evolve the shape of the master data model for Business Data and define the target state of this information in digital format
  • Source data from primary and secondary sources and developing and maintaining databases and data systems.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Work closely with various business units to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary analytical support
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for application systems, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for enterprise applications, identifying root causes and implementing fixes or enhancements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including system workflows and user guides, and provide training to end-users and stakeholders as needed

About you:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics or similar
  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to a non-technical audience
  • Advanced SQL: Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Business Intelligence Tools: Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms
  • Programming Languages (Highly Desirable): Proficiency in Python (with libraries like Pandas and NumPy) or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation is increasingly sought after
  • Cloud Platforms (Advantageous): Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (S3, Redshift), Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL Database, Power BI service), or Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) is a significant plus

  • Salary approx $135,000 base per annum + superannuation
