The Role
We are looking for experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HR BP) to join our People Operations Team, under the People, Culture and Diversity Division. A key emphasis will be to support the business / line managers in all things people management, and also to champion people strategies, systems, projects and initiatives. You will provide leadership in fostering an open, positive working culture, whilst ensuring that employee relations are conducted with dignity and respect.
Reporting to the Head of People Operations, and with significant on the job coaching and support provided, you will:
- Provide day to day support to your client group across the employee lifecycle, including coaching managers through all things people and performance
- Working with line managers to manage ER cases end to end by ensuring procedural fairness and mitigating risk to the business
- Partnering with the business on changes that have an impact on our people
- Playing a key role in ad hoc projects
About you
We are open to candidates of varied backgrounds, who can demonstrate the following skills / experience / aptitudes:
- Proven experience in HR as a business partner or senior advisor
- Strong understanding of and experience in ER case management
- Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to influence
- Experience and exposure in interpreting IR legislation and industrial instruments
- Exposure to working in a unionised environment (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related disciplines would be advantageous but not essential
