The Role
Are you an experienced HR Officer or HR Coordinator ready to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? In this key role, you'll be a go-to person for managers and employees across the business. Whether it's navigating the onboarding journey, resolving day-to-day HR queries, or supporting important people projects – you'll bring clarity, compassion and capability to everything you do.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner for opportunities to be mentored and grow, you'll help to build an exceptional employee experience at every touch point. You'll do this through:
- Providing timely and high-quality HR support and advice to managers and staff, on policies, legislation, Awards and EBA's
- Managing HR Helpdesk queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Championing best-practice onboarding and offboarding for employees and volunteers
- Supporting change initiatives, policy implementation, HR Projects and system improvements
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date HRIS employee data and reporting
- Preparing employment contracts and employment variations, including classifying and supporting recruitment processes and ensuring compliance
About you
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in and knowledge of HR practices, legislation, and industrial instruments (EBAs or Awards)
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (desirable, not essential)
