The Role

We have a permanent part-time opportunity for a motivated professional to join our Gladswood Lodge residential care home and make a difference to the lives of residents, their families, and the staff that help support and care for them. It's a great opportunity to combine a passion for interacting with our older community, and utilising your strong administration skills.

This role is located in Brunswick West, working within the facility on Thursday and Friday each week (7.6 hours per day). Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide face to face and over the phone customer service / reception to residents, their families, and other visitors to the home
  • Conduct orientation tours of the site, helping families and potential future residents to see the wonderful home they could be living in
  • Management of emails, records management, inventory, and financial administrative tasks
  • Supporting the Residential Services Manager with other duties as required such as rostering assistance, meeting management, 
  • Support with staffing related administration duties such as recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and engagement of agency staff 

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • An ability to create genuine connections with others, demonstrating empathy and kindness
  • Strong administration skills and ability to adapt to a changing aged care environment 
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, courteous manner of communicating
  • Tech savvy - able to use multiple systems
