The Opportunity

Clarinda on the Park is a boutique residence conveniently located opposite Bald Hill Park nestled in the heart of the southeastern suburbs between Oakleigh, Clayton, Dandenong and Springvale where residents and families can enjoy the benefits of outdoor living. The After-Hours Manager (AHM) is responsible for the effective management and oversight of the local service after hours in the absence of the Residential Services Manager. They enjoy working within a supportive, respectful environment where their expertise and empathy are valued and rewarded. What We Offer

What You Will Do

  • Provide high quality resident care by administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
  • Observes, documents and reports changes in resident wellbeing and care environment
  • Demonstrate the application of excellent clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
  • Work under the guidance of registered nurses and after-hours managers to ensure the wellbeing of residents within the Residential Aged Care Home.
  • Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About You

  • Completed Bachelor of Nursing and/or current Registration with AHPRA as Division 1 (required)
  • Current NDIS clearance (required) 
  • Experience in Community Care, Home Care or Residential (highly desired)
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations and Flu immunisation up to date (highly desired)
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team and under guidance of Registered Nurse
