The Role

We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) for our Kangaroo Flat home, in Kangaroo Flat, home to 50residents.

  • Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
  • Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
  • Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
  • Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation 
  • Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

  • Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA 
  • Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
  • Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration 
  • The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
