The Role
As a Lifestyle Lead / Coordinator, you'll support residents in our St Georges home in Altona Meadows to live their best life and achieve their personal goals. You'll ensure residents are at the centre of your decision making.
- Develop an inclusive lifestyle program, taking into account differing cognitive, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of the residents, tailoring the programs to meet individual needs
- Program, budget and external stakeholder management (community groups, external companies, etc)
- Provide guidance and direction to supporting volunteers, care staff, and a Lifestyle Assistant
- Maintain records of programs, and ensure regular evaluation, to continuously improve the program
- Promote positive attitudes towards ageing
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure, or formal qualifications in Community Development, Recreation or Disability
- Experience in a similar role
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain
- Experience creating genuine connections, and empathising with clients, families and team members
