The Role

As a Lifestyle Lead / Coordinator, you will support residents at our Gladswood Lodge home in Brunswick West to live their best life and achieve their personal goals. You will ensure residents are at the centre of your decision-making and develop meaningful programs that reflect their cognitive, social, spiritual, and cultural needs.

This is a hands-on, standalone role within a smaller residential aged care home. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and personally delivering the lifestyle program, so we are looking for someone who is confident working independently and has prior experience in a similar role. In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver an inclusive lifestyle program tailored to individual resident needs
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate group activities, one-on-one engagement and community connection opportunities
  • Manage program records, documentation, and regular evaluations to support continuous improvement
  • Support community engagement and manage external stakeholders such as community groups and service providers
  • Monitor and manage the lifestyle program budget
  • Work collaboratively with care staff and volunteers to support resident participation and wellbeing
  • Promote positive attitudes towards ageing and person-centred care

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure, or formal qualifications in Community Development, Recreation or Disability
  • Previous experience in a similar lifestyle role within residential aged care
  • Confidence working autonomously in a hands-on role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Experience creating genuine connections, and empathising with clients, families and team members
