We’re seeking a Support Services Officer to join our vibrant North West Metro Home Care Team. Based in our local office in Braybrook and reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in providing a home care administrative support that enables smooth delivery of programs and operational systems, while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries and undertake appropriate front office duties as required:
  • Understand and be responsive to the individual needs of clients with an understanding of diversity 
  • Seek and respond to client and employee feedback to support the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Complete administrative and operational tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support the operating capacity of the regional team
  • Assist in the coordination of office services to ensure the regional team operates effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate office services, regularly reviewing regional administrative tasks and prioritising in collaboration with other team members
  • Support the delivery of services by maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of data in the client management system
  • Provide reporting and updates to the Operations Manager

About You

  • Strong computer skills across MS Office
  • Proven experience in administration within a busy team environment
  • Excellent written communication and ability to prepare clear meeting minutes
  • Strong initiative, time management, and organisational skills
  • Great interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience in aged care or health services
  • Knowledge of government-funded packages and relevant legislation
  • Ability to take a holistic approach to client needs
  • Empathy and understanding of older clients and their families
