The Role

We are looking for Personal Care Workers (PCW) to assist clients one on one in their homes, within the Daylesford and Trentham areas across the Hepburn region. 

• Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
• Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
• Assist clients with personal care and domestic duties in their homes
• Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love
• Drive between clients' homes, seeing up to 4 clients per day (paid for travel time)

About you

• Cert III Individual Support, Ageing or similar. You can also be currently studying, or finished your first year of nursing. 
• Your own vehicle, current drivers' licence, and car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
• CPR and First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
• Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to 4 clients per day, and up to 20kms between clients (paid travel time)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to obtain
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with older Victorians
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation

If you do not have a relevant qualification but want to work as a Care Worker in aged care, please still apply as we may have some clients looking for domestic assistance (cleaning, food preparation, etc).
