The Role

We are holding a recruitment event to hire multiple casual Personal Care Workers at our Benetas Bridgewater Lake home in Roxburgh Park. This home has 98 wonderful residents who value your contribution. There are shifts available across AM/PM/Night Duty.

The role of a PCW is exciting and diverse in our residential aged care homes. Our PCWs provide empathy, support and companionship to our residents through daily living activities, assisting with meal services, providing engaging, inclusive activities and day programs. 

• Assist residents with daily activities according to their needs and choices
• Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse on shift
• Plan and support residents with social and lifestyle activities within the home
• Document information including all required charting and progress notes
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Completed a Cert III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care or a related qualification. 
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
