The role
Benetas is seeking a high-performing Sales and Customer Relationship Consultant to drive admissions and occupancy outcomes across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes.
This is a consultative sales role where you'll support older Australians and their families through one of life's most important decisions, while building trusted relationships with referrers and stakeholders to generate demand and admissions. Success in this role comes from balancing empathy with commercial accountability, managing a strong pipeline and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Drive Admissions and Occupancy Outcomes:
- Manage the complete enquiry-to-admission lifecycle for prospective residents
- Convert qualified enquiries into respite and permanent admissions
- Build and maintain healthy waitlists and admission pipelines
- Achieve admission, occupancy, and conversion targets across your portfolio of Residential Aged Care Homes which are visited regularly
Build Strategic Relationships:
- Develop and maintain referral networks with hospitals, discharge planners, health professionals and community partners to support occupancy growth and admissions outcomes
- Identify opportunities to strengthen referral pathways and generate demand
- Represent Benetas at industry and community events across the State
Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences:
- Guide families through complex aged care decisions
- Provide advice on aged care funding, fees and admission requirements
- Advocate for prospective residents and families throughout the admission journey
About you
You are a relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping people navigate important decisions while achieving meaningful outcomes. You bring proven experience across consultative sales, business development, relationship management or customer engagement, and are comfortable building trust, influencing decisions and managing opportunities through to completion.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong relationship-building and networking capability, with a track record of developing trusted partnerships and referral sources
- A consultative and customer-focused approach, balancing empathy and compassion with commercial accountability
- Proven ability to collaborate and build trust with cross-functional stakeholders that enhance customer experience and achieve business outcomes
- Confidence navigating complex and emotionally sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Learning agility and adaptability, with the ability to quickly absorb complex information and operate effectively in a changing environment
- Experience using CRM systems to manage customer interactions, opportunities and performance
- A proactive, resilient and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria.
