We are looking for qualified Personal Care Workers to join our team in the Hume region.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with a minimum of 20 guaranteed hours per fortnight, providing greater income certainty while still offering flexibility across your working week.

As a Community Personal Care Worker with Benetas, you will provide one-on-one support to older people in their own homes, helping them remain independent, connected and living life on their terms.

No two days are quite the same. You may be supporting someone with personal care, assisting with everyday tasks at home, or helping a client stay connected with their community and the activities that are important to them.

 The role

You will:

• Provide respectful, person-centred care in clients’ homes
• Assist clients with personal care and daily activities according to their individual needs and choices
• Support clients with domestic tasks where required
• Help clients maintain independence, relationships and connection with their community
• Work one-on-one with clients while being supported by an experienced local team
• Travel between clients, generally around 10–30 minutes between services

About you

You will have:

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Community Services, Disability or a related qualification, or completion of first-year nursing studies
• A genuine interest in supporting older people to live well and independently at home
• The ability to work confidently and independently while also contributing to a team
• A current driver licence, reliable vehicle and appropriate car insurance
• NDIS Clearance, First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain these
• A respectful and inclusive approach to people from all backgrounds
