The Role

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you'll support residents in our St Lawrence Court Eaglehawk home in California Gully to live their best life by promoting independence, social participation, and wellbeing. • Promote positive attitudes towards ageing while supporting resident choice, dignity, rights, and autonomy.
  • Ensure all activities align with aged care standards, organisational policies, and resident-centred care principles.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in aged care, community care, disability services, or a similar customer-focused environment.
  • A passion for supporting older people to maintain independence, wellbeing, and meaningful social connections.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and colleagues.
