Our Team

At Benetas, our Personal Care Workers are at the heart of the care we provide. Working closely with residents, families, nurses and the wider care team, they help older people maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

We are currently recruiting a number of Permanent Part-Time Personal Care Workers to join our team at Corowa Court in Mornington, with fixed AM and PM roster patterns available.

The Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents in their daily lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and activities of daily living

• Providing respectful, individualised care in line with residents’ care plans and preferences
• Supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ needs or condition
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following infection prevention, manual handling and workplace safety requirements

Available shifts

AM shifts are 7:00 am–3:00 pm and PM shifts are 2:45 pm–10:00 pm.

A range of permanent part-time roster patterns are available across weekdays and weekends. Current patterns include:

AM patterns

Please indicate in your application which roster pattern(s) you are available to work. These are ongoing fixed rosters, so applicants must be able to commit to their nominated pattern.

About you

• Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or Aged Care, or a related qualification, or completed the first year of nursing studies and placements
• Experience working in an aged care environment
• A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain
