The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Assistant to assist with the delivery of NGV corporate partnerships, including implementation of agreements, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collation of reporting and development of written and visual collateral.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Under the direction of the Senior Account Manager, Corporate Partnerships, you will be supporting the account management of a portfolio of NGV corporate partners, applying best practice account service; proactivity, creativity and collaboration to maximise partnerships across all sectors and identify opportunities for growth and new ideas. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Corporate Partnerships team with exhibition and event management processes, including but not limited to, mailouts, logo approvals, event guest list management, event organisation, coordination and attendance at NGV events.
  • Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to support the development of internal and external correspondence, partnership presentations, reports and collateral ensuring maximum accuracy and design value.
  • Collaborating and building relationships with internal and external NGV stakeholders to successfully deliver agreed partnership activities.
  • Drafting, monitoring and servicing NGV partnership agreements, ensuring compliance by both corporate partners and the NGV in consultation with the Senior Account Manager. Coordinating and managing timely invoicing and contract renewal.

To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in providing administration and account management support. You can prepare, basic letters, emails, reports and media releases using clear, concise and grammatically correct language, organise information in a logical sequence and include content appropriate for the purpose and audience. You use a polite and considerate manner when dealing with others, clearly explain information and listen to feedback. You regularly plan and track progress on work tasks, support the team in the time management of their tasks, take an organised, methodical approach to work and address priority tasks first.

You will have sound knowledge of marketing principles in terms of branding, positioning and business development. Marketing, communications and/or business qualifications will be highly regarded.
