We’re currently expanding our team and looking for Workshop Supervisor to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

Position Available: Workshop Supervisor

Location: Townsville

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage day to day operations of the team, the delegation of tasks to direct reports in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with the maintenance and workshop procedures. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Management and delegation of tasks to direct reports
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational and human resource policies and procedures
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
• Safeguard Workshop operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Sustain physical condition of the Workshop by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Complete Workshop operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and assessing work results.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant OH&S polices by leading by example, displaying safety awareness at all times, and ensuring conformity to housekeeping policy. 
• Provide leadership and guidance to foster a positive work environment and inspire employees and subcontractors to work safely, efficiently, and effectively to meet departmental performance criteria, and contribute to team effort when necessary

Skills and Experience: 

• Trade Certificate in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
• Previous experience in a similar role
• High level of computer skills and High attention to detail
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Ability to interpret parts and orders
• Current Australian drivers licence (HR)
• Forklift licence preferable
• Excellent customer service skills and communications skills.
