About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated professional responsible for providing experience, knowledge, direction, and guidance to the operation of the Bulk DG & Explosives to achieve safe, cost-efficient results by controlling, directing, and maximising productivity in the Bulk DG & Explosives department. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership and guidance in operations management for Bulk DG & Explosives, achieving assigned goals to create value. Communicate and cascade the Bulk DG & Explosives Operations Plan to ensure understanding and performance. Update the plan to meet business needs and support growth in dangerous goods transport.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for alignment between strategies and objectives, assess financial implications of decisions, and develop pricing strategies to enhance profitability. Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks for documentation and procedures.
  • Manage staffing and fleet operations efficiently, ensuring policies meet customer expectations. Focus on improving operational efficiency as directed and manage expenditure and asset utilization effectively. Oversee fleet movement for safety and reliability while coordinating maintenance schedules.
  • Engage with stakeholders for streamlined communication, maintain face-to-face interactions with teams, and support a cross-functional team culture.
