About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant/Tyre Assistant to join our dynamic team in Rocklea. In this essential support role, you’ll assist our maintenance crew with tyre fitting, general workshop duties, and a variety of tasks across our fleet. You'll play a key part in keeping our vehicles safe, roadworthy, and ready to perform.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Fit, repair, rotate, and replace tyres on trucks, trailers, and light vehicles as required.

• Assist mechanics and workshop staff with general maintenance tasks and repairs.

• Perform basic inspections to identify tyre wear, damage, or safety issues and report accordingly.

• Maintain workshop cleanliness, organise tools and equipment, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

• Accurately document completed work, parts used and assist with stock control when needed.
