We’re currently expanding our team and looking for Branch Operations Coordinator to join us in delivering quality service to our customers.

Position Available: Branch Operations Coordinator

Location: Albany

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Branch Operations Coordinator to play a key role in day-to-day operation of our Albany depot. In this position, you will be working Tuesday to Saturday, and will be responsible for being the main point of contact, coordinating and directing our heavy ridge fleet, and escalating and directing issues as they occur. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the local Ridge fleet (4 trucks), ensuring smooth and efficient coordination.
  • Schedule and monitor fleet movements to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution.
  • Support loading and unloading activities alongside the team to maintain workflow and timelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including handling operational errors and correcting discrepancies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
  • Implement operational improvements as directed by the Branch Operations Manager to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards across all touchpoints.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Previous experience in a similar position (transport and logistics experience is desirable)
  • Knowledge of TMS System’s desirable
  • Understanding of and experience with tracking and processing system as well as scheduling and maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
