About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Accountant to play a central role in ensuring the integrity and timeliness of transactional and reporting processes from record to report. This position partners closely with Operational Administration to support the seamless, accurate, and near real-time capture, translation, and recording of financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, including multi-site Flash and P&L reporting, and process revenue and expense journals accurately and on time.
• Analyse financial performance through trend and variance analysis, validate the accuracy and timeliness of accounts, and support end-of-month close and reconciliation activities.
• Develop and report on key performance indicators, and design, implement, and manage financial and economic models to support business decision-making.
• Extract, translate, and integrate subsystem data into Centurion’s ERP, ensuring compliance with internal policies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes, support senior finance leadership with ad hoc tasks, and ensure reporting deadlines, compliance, and service levels are met.

Skills and Experience: 

• Strong foundation in accounting principles with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, supported by CPA or CA certification and a relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and optimise financial data, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness in transaction processing and reporting.
• Proven capability to understand operational workflows and align accounting outcomes with business activities through strong cross-functional engagement.
• Self-motivated, solution-focused, and adaptable, with a proactive mindset and the ability to drive change and continuous improvement within the organisation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX
