Location: Perth Airport

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end accounting process, including the accurate recording of expenses and journal entries, analysis of operations, maintenance of fixed assets, and timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and accounts. Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the preparation and review of detailed cost analysis, Workshop P&L results, and associated reporting, including weekly/monthly Flash reports and reforecasts.
• Oversee end-to-end expense and cost management, including accurate posting of accounting journals, ownership of workshop costs, and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, including daily, weekly, and monthly payment schedules, and oversee fixed asset, lease, and rental management.
• Ensure efficient accounts payable processes, monitor AP targets (e.g., AP days), and support invoicing and cash collection activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance operations and reporting; manage direct reports by monitoring performance, addressing training needs, and implementing development plans.

Skills and Experience: 

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar or senior finance role, with demonstrated ability to manage P&L and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in cost analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, including AP, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
