We’re currently expanding our team and looking for a Strategic Account Manager to develop and strengthen key customer relationships throughout Queensland.

Position Available: Strategic Accounts Manager

Location: Brisbane

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager – Account Management, the successful candidate will develop and strengthen key customer relationships, focusing on long-term growth and retention. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, develop and strengthen these relationships to deliver tactical, strategic & value focussed customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance visibility of operational performance.
  • Maintain a focus on retaining current portfolio revenue.
  • Actively identify key customer(s) strategic imperatives and where / how Centurion can unlock and position for new business development opportunities.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key internal departments to ensure cost efficiency, safety, and timeliness to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to review customer profitability and to ensure revenue capture is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports including agreed KPIs, commercial data and other agreed reporting metrics in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key internal departments to ensure cost efficiency, safety, and timeliness in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Logistics; and/or extensive experience in the freight transportation industry.
  • 10+ years relevant logistics experience, with a proven track record in Account Management.
  • Professional composure and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of data analytics and statistics.
  • Ability to travel when required.
