Centurion is excited to announce we’ve secured new customer contracts, creating consistent work and long-term stability at our Perth Airport depot.

As a result, we’re expanding our team and have a permanent full-time opportunity available for an experienced Senior Freight Loader to join our yard operations on a Monday to Friday roster. In this role, you’ll operate counterbalance forklifts and RF scanners while handling general, palletised and oversize freight, loading, unloading and securing freight safely using load restraint methods.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Handle general, ugly, palletised and oversize freight
• Secure loads in line with the Load Restraint Guide using ratchet straps, chains and binders
• Scan and track freight across all stages (received, staged, loaded and unloaded)
• Prepare outbound freight for safe and secure dispatch
• Use RF scanners to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with drivers and yard teams to keep freight moving
• Share your experience to support and mentor team members

What You’ll Bring

• Significant experience handling general and oversize freight in a large depot environment
• Ability to coach and mentor junior Freight personnel
• Current LF Forklift Licence with practical experience
• Strong load restraint skills (ratchet straps, chains and binders)
• Previous yard hand, warehouse or similar experience
• RF scanner experience (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and compliance
