We are looking for a Workshop Administrator to join our Perth Workshop team, supporting day-to-day administrative, compliance and operational activities within a busy workshop environment.

Location: Perth Airport, WA
About the role:
Based at our Perth Airport depot, this role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to workshop staff and assisting the National Workshop Administration Manager with all workshop administration requirements. You will ensure the accuracy of workshop records, support staff onboarding and compliance, and help maintain safe and efficient workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timesheets, PayGlobal entries and pay queries
- Support onboarding, inductions, site access and trade uniforms
- Maintain employee compliance including medicals, audiometric testing and trade licences
- Raise and close work orders: monitor open vendor work orders
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and appropriately signed off by supervisors
- Track safety compliance, CRAs and monthly workshop checks
- Liaise with Workshop Management and HESQ Advisor regarding safety requirements and compliance
- Perform administrative duties in MYOSH
- Maintain the training matrix and schedule renewals
- Manage filing, archiving, shared inboxes and communication boards
- Support audits, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate data in MEX, ERP systems and other digital tools
- Conform to all quality systems and procedures
- Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment, reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Manager or Supervisor
About You:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MEX and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with administrative, operational and professional staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to complete administrative and data entry duties accurately and efficiently without direct supervision
- Accurate typing and data entry capability
- Experience processing timesheets and weekly payroll
- Customer-service orientated with a positive and helpful attitude
- Ability to follow and uphold all company policies
- Understanding of workshop safety and documentation compliance
- Knowledge of transport or fleet operations is advantageous
Skills & Experience
- Experience in workshop or maintenance administration (preferred)
- Knowledge of transport/fleet operations (advantageous)
- Understanding of workshop safety and compliance requirements
- Typically 3 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
