Your new role:

Centurion in Alice Springs is currently seeking entry-level warehouse officers or experienced forklift operators to join the team full-time as a Freight Officer. This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and manoeuvring of general freight, ensuring all loads are secured and restrained correctly.

What You'll be doing:

• Operating a forklift to load and unload freight in a safe and timely manner
• Processing of various types of freight from beginning to end
• Secure and restrain all loads in a safe manner as per the load restraint guide
• Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
• Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
• Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times

What You'll bring:

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) - desired but not essential
• Preferred experience with general freight or warehousing
• Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
• Preferred scanning experience
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
