With a strong commitment to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement, we are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team.

 

About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting Centurion’s cash flow, liquidity management, and banking activities to ensure optimal working capital outcomes. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of treasury transactions, reporting, and forecasting, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management

  • Prepare and maintain daily cash position reporting across multiple bank accounts
  • Assist in the preparation and management of rolling cash flow forecasts
  • Execute treasury transactions including payments and fund transfers
  • Partner with internal teams (AP, AR, Payroll) to optimise cash flow outcomes

Debt & Funding Management

  • Maintain accurate records of borrowings and leases
  • Support debt facility management, including interest calculations and compliance tracking
  • Coordinate financing requirements and liaise with external financiers

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Support month-end close processes, including journals and disclosures
  • Assist with board reporting and audit requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and delegation of authority

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and implement process improvements across treasury systems and workflows

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce or related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards completion
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar treasury or financial accounting role
  • Strong understanding of cash management, forecasting, and reconciliation processes
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with financial systems (D365 experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
