Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Actively participate in St. Patrick's Professional Learning Community and work closely with colleagues
- Display a sound understanding of evidence based Literacy programs and contemporary teaching approaches to Mathematics
- Demonstrate knowledge about explicit teaching and structured literacy
- Monitor and assess learners using data to plan for future success
- Understand how learners learn and how best to meet their needs
- Foster a safe and challenging learning environment that truly makes a difference for each student

Key Selection Criteria
- Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration);
- A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate;
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
- Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
- Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
