Duties & Responsibilities:

To provide general diagnostic radiology imaging interpretation, including conventional radiographs, CT, US, MR, and fluoroscopy procedures with the use of state-of-the-art equipment. Participate in tumor boards, conferences and take call as a full-time Radiology faculty member. This position's responsibilities will be 70% (plus call) in the Department of Radiology and 30% with the Stravitz-Sanyal Liver Institute.

1. Clinical   Provide high quality imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of the referring physicians and patients of VCUHS.  Responsibilities include conventional radiographs, CT, MR, US and fluoroscopy procedures.
2. Teaching   Provide training to medical students, residents & fellows who rotate through the Department of Radiology.
3. Research   Continue to promote professional relationships with Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, Radiation Oncology and other departments/divisions to foster interdisciplinary research.

 Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in MSK, Abdominal or Cardiothoracic imaging
• Candidate must be eligible for a Virginia medical license and for permanent employment in the USA
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

• Strong clinical background in imaging.
