Course content builds on students’ prior knowledge in research methods, healthcare theory, and instructional design, with an emphasis on professional skills and experiences not typically addressed in formal coursework. Throughout the course, students explore current health sciences research across the university and community settings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Earned PhD in health-related field.
• Strong oral and written communications skills as demonstrated by prior peer-reviewed publications and grants.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a desire to work with health sciences PhD students.
• Prior experience teaching in an academic institution, conducting research, and working within community-based settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous work in course design and the use of Canvas.

Salary Range: $8,755/3 Credit Course
