Position Responsibilities
VCU School of Pharmacy is seeking a part-time hourly Research Assistant to assist with protein crystallization and laboratory maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of science degree or equivalent Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination training and years of experience
- Previous laboratory experience and/or laboratory maintenance or management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record in biomedical research
Salary Range: $30.00 per hour
FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Hours per Week: Average of 29 hours per week
Flexible Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
