| The Instructional Designer works collaboratively with faculty and other CTLE staff, as necessary, to design, develop, and implement high quality learning experiences for traditional (face-to-face), online, and blended/hybrid courses. The Instructional Designer provides training for faculty on a variety of topics, including course design, use of instructional technologies in online and hybrid course content development and delivery, and use of the campus learning management system (Canvas LMS). This role is responsible for providing support to OSU-OKC faculty and staff in the adoption and application of instructional technologies, designing new courses, assistance with revising existing courses (and course materials), and training and development related to instructional design principles and quality standards for online and hybrid/blended courses. This role is also responsible for successfully managing multiple simultaneous projects, assessing and working to mitigate risk, regularly reporting progress, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to promote collaboration and accountability. |
