About this Position
The digital content creator in the Office of Communications and Marketing for OSU Agriculture is a professional who brings the OSU Agriculture brand to life through compelling digital storytelling. They develop high-quality digital assets that advance strategic communication and marketing objectives for OSU Agriculture, which is comprised of the Ferguson College of Agriculture and two state agencies: OSU Extension and OSU Ag Research. They work closely with other staff in the office to promote and OSU Agriculture within the OSU community, state, region and country.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate, produce and edit digital content, including videos, infographics and photos, as part of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with teams in the Office of Communications and Marketing to elevate existing content.
- Use analytics and key performance indicators to inform data-driven digital strategies.
- Work with faculty and staff within OSU Agriculture to bring awareness to programming and topics through digital content.
- Plan and maintain a digital content calendar to incorporate content into various channels including social media, email communications and web content.
- Maintain consistency with OSU Agriculture’s brand guidelines.
- Use strategic communication and marketing efforts to enhance the visibility and reputation of OSU Agriculture among stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of individual assignments, related schedules and deadlines.
- Meet with university partners as appropriate. Other duties as assigned.
