About this Position

Responsible for preparation of hot and cold foods in units. Including receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of the food. Responsible for appropriate training of employees assigned to food production area. Responsible for the general upkeep, sanitation, and safe operation of all equipment and work area. Other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position that may not have scheduled hours during the month of mid-May to mid-August, unless work is available. This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:

    Acquire Serve Safe after hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of food preparation work experience.
