About this Position
The Deputy Director will oversee a service-oriented department designed to assist the OSU/A&M System constituents in achieving their goals and objectives through the effective use of technology. This position oversees the Enterprise IT Administrative Applications operations of the Stillwater and Tulsa campuses as well as services extended to seven other campuses within the OSU/A&M System. The Deputy Director collaborates with the Department’s Director, IT’s Leadership team, the A&M CIO, managers and technical staff in the operational and academic areas on joint projects and shared services. Drives operational effectiveness and efficiency. Focuses on growing and transforming the business. Collaboration efforts include but are not limited to project planning, service delivery, product evaluation, defining expense cost shares, security reviews, and policy.
Requires interaction with supervisors, colleagues, and students using clear communication, tact, discretion, and independent judgement.
This is an onsite position.
Position requires the incumbent to own a computer and have internet access with the ability to work remotely, should a departmental need arise.
Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent’s salary includes additional compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.
