About this Position
The Department of Chemistry at Oklahoma State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Organic Chemistry to begin April 1, 2026. This is a research postdoctoral position, and the candidate will work on projects involving C–F functionalization of a variety of molecular structural motifs. The specific projects will focus on the development of a general catalytic platform to activate and derivatize alkylfluorinated molecules, including PFAS. A successful candidate will be required to regularly present/report on research progress, write scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, disseminate research at national conferences, help mentor and train student researchers, and assist the preparation of grant proposals.
Length of Appointment:
The initial appointment is for one year. Opportunities of renewal beyond this first year are contingent upon available funding.
