The Director of Marketing & Communications will oversee the strategic branding, marketing, market research and communications for OSU-OKC. Provide comprehensive, integrated strategic marketing and communications planning and implementation in support of university and system goals to grow Oklahoma’s high-tech workforce. These efforts align with OSU’s strategic marketing and communications plan which prioritizes recruitment, retention and reputation management. Must understand current strategic communications, marketing and outreach strategies and have an adaptable writing style for various audiences. The individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects. Additionally, this individual must be adept at working with individuals at various roles and leadership levels, collecting feedback and improving communications based on information received. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to showcase Oklahoma State University. |

Ensure effective and efficient management of all administrative aspects of the Upward Bound Program. Work weekly with individual students and parents in assigned target schools. Ensure compliance with guidelines required by the U.S. Department of Education and Oklahoma State University accounting policies in conducting and reporting grant activities. Requires frequent evening and weekend work, both at OSU and in target communities to provide services and times appropriate for program participants and their families; often averaging higher than 40 hours per week. Six-week summer residential program requires additional hours, both during the workday as well as evenings and/or weekends. |

Job Summary: The Capital Asset Accountant (Entry-Level) supports the tracking, accounting, and reporting of the University’s equipment. The position plays a vital role in ensuring that asset management activities comply with applicable university policies, state regulations, and federal reporting requirements.

Coordinate the daily accounting of equipment acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
Ensure assets are properly tagged and categorized according to university policies.
Assist with data entry and updates to the asset management system.
Work with Procurement to ensure that capital asset acquisitions are properly identified, recorded, and classified in the university’s accounting system
Perform annual physical inventory of all equipment and reconciliation of asset records.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits and financial reporting.
Coordinate the periodic disposal/sale/auction of unneeded physical assets.
Other duties as assigned. |
