The position involves performing repair work on University fire and security systems, along with minor programming for various fire and security systems. Scheduled maintenance on fire alarms, security alarms, and fire sprinkler systems is required, as well as regular alarm testing, troubleshooting, and necessary repairs. Duties also include the visual and auditory inspection of fire alarm devices and testing smoke detectors, heat detectors, fire alarm panels, and field components. |
