| The individual will perform primary level medical diagnosis and treatment of OSU students, employees, and other authorized patients. Duties may include acute care services, management of chronic conditions, medication management, minor office procedures, gynecological services, and general referrals and coordination of care within the community. Participates in meetings and committees as assigned by Senior Director. May assist in training and supervision of medical and health professional students. OSU University Health Services is a comprehensive outpatient medical facility offering primary and acute care types of medical services. Pharmacy, radiology, lab, nutrition, mental health services, allergy clinic, women's clinic and employee health clinic (including EAP Psychology) are also a part of the health center. Will adhere to all OSU and UHS policies and procedures related to appropriate and authorized use of protected health information in all its forms. |

| The mission of the Langston University Animal Science program is to conduct research, develop, and transfer technologies to various animal species, including goats, hair sheep, cattle, and other species. The program encompasses the American Institute for Goat Research (AIGR), which fulfills its mission through excellence in a results-driven, highly productive research program, an effective, client-oriented community-based extension approach, and dynamic international activities that emphasize business development and human capacity building.
Cutting-edge research focuses on providing novel information that is relevant and applicable to producers, researchers, and consumers. The goal of the animal research and Extension programs is to enhance information exchange and producer skill levels through hands-on workshops, field days, and web-based information and interactive components. SL/SAAS is committed to excellence in research, extension, teaching, and international programs in accordance with the Land-Grant mission of Langston University.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the research and extension programs. They will serve in the extension and research programs and conduct applied research with a primary focus on unique aspects of goats, hair sheep, cattle, poultry, or other animal species. The candidate will be expected to maintain contact with industry leaders and conduct workshops in various areas of animal production and management. They will collaborate with other scientists on research of interest. Potential teaching assignments in their area of specialization will be available periodically. |
