Sooner Club Student Hospitality Assistant (Summer)

| The Sooner Club is seeking enthusiastic OU students to manage suite and club areas at all home football games, home basketball games, and serve as guides during Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium tours. Hospitality Assistants will ensure a memorable experience for exclusive guests in premium seating during home football games and will have the opportunity to work basketball home games. This role offers the opportunity to be part of the behind-the-scenes action on game days while growing your network and professional skills in a college gameday atmosphere. This position is ideal for students looking to enhance their hospitality, communication, and leadership skills while being immersed in the excitement of OU Athletics.
Essential Functions:
Assist in preparing and setting up premium areas for an exceptional fan experience
Greet and coordinate check-ins for attendees, actively listen to fan needs, and respond to questions with a customer focused, professional attitude
Conduct stadium tours for groups of up to 50, presenting OU Athletics' history in an educational and entertaining manner
Troubleshoot issues, monitor groups during tours, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout all interactions
Participate in mandatory training sessions and attend all required home football games, with the opportunity to work men’s and women’s basketball games in the Courtside Club during winter and spring Potential for a Floor Manager role based on experience |

Sports Nutrition Student Assistant (Summer)

| Assist staff and Sports Dietitians with daily duties and on-going projects for optimal fueling of the Oklahoma Sooner student-athletes
Assist in managing fueling stations, including transporting and stocking, inventory of nutritional products regularly
Assist in weekly ordering of sport-specific fueling stations
Train other interns on the guidelines, protocols of OU Sports Nutrition
Create educational handouts and additional signage as deemed necessary by Sports Dietitians
Facilitate in the preparation and delivery of nutritional supplements, food, and fueling station food items for student athletes
Sport assignments or game day operations as needed
Other duties as assigned by staff Sports Dietitians
Seeking students who can commit to 20 hours per week for a full year. Minimum of a yearlong position** |

Student Assistant - Athletics Equipment Manager (Summer)

| Assist with all facets of athletic equipment and uniforms assigned varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
Ensures that all equipment and uniform needs are met for assigned sports' practices and competitions.
- Adheres to policies and procedures regarding distribution of equipment for assigned intercollegiate sports.
Adheres to OSHA requirements, and NCAA regulations with regards to equipment safety.
Assist with all laundry room operations. Stores necessary laundry and supplies for use by Athletic Department staff.
Assist with facility event set-up for all varsity intercollegiate athletic teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants will be assigned to any of the 21 varsity sports within the OU Athletics Department. Assignment is determined by head coaches and full-time Equipment staff members |

Student Assistant - Athletics Facilities, Events & Game Operations (Summer)

| Athletics Facilities, Events & Game Operations Student Assistants will staff OU Athletics events and assist the Athletics
Internal Operations Departments to fulfill their daily duties. Assignments include, but are not limited to the following:

Student Assistant - Athletics Ticket Office Operations (Summer)

| As an employee of the OU Athletic Ticket Office, you will be the front line of the athletic department. You will work with
other student workers to assist in the operations of the OU Athletic Ticket Office. You will be assisting customers in
purchasing and/or distributing tickets over the phone and/or in person. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with the public and co-workers. Students must be willing to work select home sporting events, but it will be mandatory for student workers to work all home football games until halftime.
Essential Functions:
Provide customer service through phone, in person, and email avenues
Ticket sales and order management
Database management
Game day event preparation and management
Complementary ticket management and fulfillment
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
