Position Introduction:
Reports To: Operations Director
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Operations Director and Development Director while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit operations. This position assists with a variety of day-to-day office tasks that support the mission and daily functions of Abbott House Child Advocacy Center. The student will have the opportunity to develop professional skills while contributing to the organization's administrative, operational, and development efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Director and Development Director.
- Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing electronic and paper records.
- Prepare documents, packets, and other materials for meetings, trainings, and events.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars as needed.
- Support donor communications, mailings, and fundraising projects.
- Enter and maintain data in organizational databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist with special projects and community events.
- Help maintain office organization and inventory of supplies.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the daily operations of Abbott House.

Required Education:
- Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule.
- Must attach a Resume.
- Must have received and accepted a work study award for the FALL semester.
