The Programmer Analyst is responsible for writing, developing, updating, testing, and maintaining programs, software, and systems to meet research and University needs. This position provides technical support and training, assists with implementation of digital research tools, and works closely with investigators and study teams to support participant-facing and staff-facing systems.

Experience with Dapper, IIS, Visual Studio, Azure, and modern software development practices is preferred.
The candidate should be capable of leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, troubleshooting complex application issues, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Experience with TypeScript and React is desirable but not required for candidates with strong back-end development and database expertise.
Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows is strongly preferred, including the ability to leverage modern AI coding assistants to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and application delivery.
