The Department of Cell Biology is seeking a Senior Staff Research Scientist to join our team. The selected candidate will manage microscopy equipment in a core facility setting and oversee the distribution of microscopy resources for projects spanning days to weeks. Preferred candidates will have experience in fluorescence microscopy and confocal microscopy. Familiar with super-resolution microscopy is also recommended. Student Counseling Services (SCS) is seeking a counselor to provide services to students seeking graduate-level and professional degrees at the OU-Health campus. This includes individual, couples, and group counseling; crisis intervention; case management; and outreach and wellness programming. For those interested in supervision opportunities, the center directs a practicum program for masters-level and doctoral-level students as well as LPC-candidates. We also offer assessment services to support students seeking mental health diagnoses. SCS is comprised of a diverse staff including psychologists and licensed professional counselors. The Stephenson Cancer Center's Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the OU Tulsa Schusterman Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Senior Staff Research Assistant to support multiple ongoing research studies focused on real time health behavior change. This position plays a key role in advancing innovative, technology driven research aimed at reducing smoking, alcohol use, and marijuana use through NIH funded and pilot randomized controlled trials. The Senior Staff Research Assistant will work closely with the Senior Program Manager to coordinate and delegate research activities, oversee participant payment processes, and support the development of smartphone based applications used in study protocols. Additional responsibilities include data collection, record management, data analysis, and preparation of research reports. Studies utilize smartphones, tablets, GPS, and mobile carbon monoxide monitors to collect real world data and deliver automated interventions. This includes collaboration with areas such as Fraternity & Sorority Programs and Services, Housing and Residence Life, Student Life, Athletics, and other departments engaged in fostering a healthy and safe campus culture.
