Student Office Assistant (Fall)

| Office Assistants (OAs) provide front desk reception and student services at the Student Learning Center's locations, including Lissa and Cy Wagner Hall, the Cross Learning Center (Cross Village A), and various sites across campus.
OA duties include: Student check-in and check-out Checking resources in and out
Answering questions about SLC programs Managing phone duties and session coordination
Maintaining clean, organized spaces and handling equipment setup and storage
OAs are required to attend the following training sessions at the start of each semester:
New Member Onboarding / Basic Training — Prior to the start of classes (scheduled based on student availability)
Monthly Training Conference — Once per month on the last Friday (date TBA)
OAs create a welcoming, inviting atmosphere across all center locations and online sessions. They also play an integral role in data collection, tracking every student's visit and performing accurate data entry and corrections in iAdvise. |

Sports Nutrition Student Assistant (Summer)

| Assist staff and Sports Dietitians with daily duties and on-going projects for optimal fueling of the Oklahoma Sooner student-athletes
Assist in managing fueling stations, including transporting and stocking, inventory of nutritional products regularly
Assist in weekly ordering of sport-specific fueling stations
Train other interns on the guidelines, protocols of OU Sports Nutrition
Create educational handouts and additional signage as deemed necessary by Sports Dietitians
Facilitate in the preparation and delivery of nutritional supplements, food, and fueling station food items for student athletes
Sport assignments or game day operations as needed
Other duties as assigned by staff Sports Dietitians
Seeking students who can commit to 20 hours per week for a full year. Minimum of a yearlong position** |

Peer Learning Assistant – Physics and Math (Fall)

| Peer Learning Assistants (PLAs) provide academic assistance for students enrolled in a range of target courses, including introductory, upper-division, and instructor-managed sessions. PLAs are responsible for preparing for and staffing weekly small-group tutoring sessions, held in-person and/or online.
In this role, PLAs help maintain attendance records, facilitate study skills consultations, and communicate with course instructors regarding course materials and session promotion. PLAs also regularly report progress to the Student Learning Center Director and the SLC Lead Team.
PLAs are required to attend the following training sessions at the start of each semester:

Supplemental Instruction Leader - Biology (Fall)

| A Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader is a student who provides peer academic support for an assigned course. SI Leaders help students at the University of Oklahoma better understand course concepts through collaborative, peer-led sessions. The position typically requires a time commitment of 10 hours per week during the academic semester, with some weeks requiring additional hours for training and professional development. SI Leaders attend all class lectures, promote sessions through announcements and reminders, and communicate regularly with course instructors and the SLC Admin Team.
SI Leaders display a welcoming attitude, support peer learning, and perform other related duties as assigned. Please provide the name and contact information for at least one OU faculty or staff member who can serve as a reference. |
