Student Facility Attendant (Summer) Norman

The Facility Attendant is responsible for monitoring the facility floor of the Sarkeys Fitness Center during operational hours. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, addressing member concerns, ensuring policies are followed, cleaning duties and responding to emergency situations. Facility Attendants may cross-train in other divisions of Fitness and Recreation to work shifts as needed, secondary to meeting the needs of the Facility and any other duties as assigned.

Student Employees are applying academic learning by developing workforce competencies, per The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) guidelines. Membership Attendants provide customer service to the members of the Sarkeys Fitness Center. They will run register for sales and membership, adhering to all proper payment handling processes. Membership Attendants provide program and service information, both in person and on the telephone. They will enforce facility policies, assist with data entry, respond during emergency situations, and clean and maintain the center.

This position’s hours are typically Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm. Schedule is approximately 20-30 hours/week. These student staff members work in the Housing Office and are responsible for administrative tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering student questions about housing and related services, giving tours, and addressing customer concerns, answering and routing phone calls, operating standard office equipment, maintaining filing systems and records, maintaining work calendars, and other duties as assigned.
Family Support Specialist Oklahoma City
Serves as a resource for families of children with developmental disabilities that get their medical services. Works with the families, pediatric residents and other professionals to provide support and resources to assist families addressing needs of their children with disabilities.
