Position Introduction:

The College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented professional to serve as Assistant Director of Student Affairs. This highly collaborative role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the student experience while supporting the operational excellence of one of the institution's most vital academic units. As a key member of the Student Affairs team, the Assistant Director serves as a central resource for students, faculty, staff, and university partners, helping to ensure that students receive exceptional support throughout their academic journey. From admission through graduation, this position contributes to initiatives that promote student engagement, success, and satisfaction while supporting strategic priorities across the College. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment that blends student support, program coordination, communications, event planning, and operational management. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with a variety of stakeholders while contributing to innovative programs and services that support undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, including those enrolled in the College's nationally recognized nurse anesthesia program.

This position plays an important role in coordinating communications and outreach efforts, supporting key student milestones, facilitating college-wide events, and helping ensure the efficient operation of multiple academic sites and student service functions. The Assistant Director will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, data-informed decision-making, and the implementation of strategic projects designed to enhance student experiences and strengthen organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, building strong relationships, and creating positive outcomes for students and colleagues alike. Experience working with student information systems, interpreting academic policies, managing student-facing communications, and supporting complex administrative processes will be valuable in this role. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate a collaborative and evolving environment are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about higher education and student success and who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The Assistant Director will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives, support institutional goals, and help shape an exceptional student experience across the College of Nursing.

If you are energized by the opportunity to support students, lead projects, coordinate impactful programs, and contribute to the success of a high-performing academic community, we encourage you to apply.
