The team
Reporting to the Manager Technical Services, Animal and Veterinary Sciences, this role sits within the Specialist Facilities and Technical Services team in the College of Science. The team supports practical teaching, research and technical operations across a diverse academic environment, enabling high-quality learning experiences and reliable technical service delivery.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience supporting physiology‑based laboratory or teaching activities, including the setup, operation, or maintenance of specialised equipment, experimental systems, or data acquisition relevant to teaching or research environments.
- Experience working within laboratory or other regulated technical environments supporting practical, experimental or operational activities.
- Experience applying laboratory safety procedures, risk controls, and standard operating procedures in teaching or research laboratories.
- Experience preparing, handling or managing laboratory materials, reagents, consumables or experimental resources.
- Experience maintaining laboratory records, inventories or technical documentation.
